What does the Maine Climate Plan mean to you and your town?

Falmouth Memorial Library will be hosting Dr. Robert Dodge for a presentation and discussion about the new Maine Climate Plan. The Maine Climate Council submitted their final plans to Governor Mills in December, 2020. The Maine Climate Plan covers a lot of ground, and this program seeks to inform Mainers about what is on the horizon.

Dr. Robert Dodge holds a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin.  His career has been in the research and development of in vitro medical devices, primarily at Abbott Laboratories (Chicago, IL) and at Idexx Laboratories (Westbrook, ME).  He retired in 2016 from Idexx as Vice President, R&D and Chief Scientific Advisor.  He currently serves as Secretary to the Board of the University of Southern Maine Foundation, as President of the Associates of the Osher Map Library at USM.

Join us on Thursday, June 17th from 6:00pm-7:00pm for the online event. This program is intended for a general audience, and Dr. Dodge will discuss what the Maine Climate Plan means for Falmouth and other towns and cities in Maine. There will be a Q&A after the presentation. The program is free, and registration is required.
