It’s time to take off our winter hats, and time to put on a crown! If you’ve enjoyed the wild and wonderful hats in our children’s room, then join us and the artist who made them, Beth Gorski, for a crown making workshop for kids! We will provide materials to decorate your crown, but feel free to bring in anything that you’d like to use to make the perfect crown!
Masks will be required.
Beth Gorski has had an interest in costumes and costume creation for most of her life. She has studied art, dancing, and theater. Once she got started on crowns and hats, she couldn’t stop! Her beautiful crowns and hats have been on display here in the Children’s Room of the library, and we’ve been thrilled by how many people enjoyed them. These colorful hats and crowns are full of color, movement and fun, and we hope that you’ll join us to create one of your own! Join us on May 18th, from 4-5:30. Space is limited, and you can reserve your spot using our online calendar starting on May 4th. We hope to see you there!
